Faith in Action: Standing in Prayer for the Community

There are moments when words are not enough, when action must begin in stillness. For me, that stillness is prayer.
The image of me holding the Bible is not about presentation — it represents posture. A posture of humility, responsibility, and obedience to serve. Before outreach, before programs, before community work, there is prayer. It is where direction is given and burdens are lifted.
I have learned that ministry is not simply about showing up for people in their visible needs, but about standing in the unseen places — interceding, covering, and listening. Prayer grounds the work we do at Global Change Ministries. It reminds us that true transformation begins within, then flows outward.
Over the years, I’ve witnessed how prayer creates space for healing, clarity, and restoration. Not always instantly, not always loudly — but faithfully. When we pray, we align ourselves with purpose and prepare our hands for service.
This is why faith and action cannot be separated. One fuels the other.
As Global Change Ministries continues its mission to serve individuals and communities, we remain committed to leading with compassion, integrity, and prayer. Every outreach, every act of service, every moment of care is rooted in this foundation.
If you are reading this and feel overwhelmed, unseen, or in need of encouragement, know this: you are not forgotten. Prayer reaches where hands cannot.
We stand ready — in faith and in action.
If you would like prayer or support, we welcome you to reach out.
